Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Chris Casey has a varied background which aligns well with the global approach of Sotheby's International Realty. He was born in the Pacific Northwest and raised between the Sierra Nevada mountains and Oklahoma prairie. After receiving a degree in geography with emphases on spatial analysis and urban geography, Chris moved to London to work and travel for three years. That innate travel bug was also responsible for two years living aboard yachts and cruising the Atlantic Seaboard from Cape Cod to the Exuma Islands. Equally comfortable on ski slopes or sailboats, in tuxedos or flip flops, Chris is grateful for the experiences and dear friends he's made along the way.
In the end, New York City was the only choice in which to plant roots, and since 2003 Chris has lived and worked as a New Yorker selling its fabled properties. He loves downtown but over the years most of Manhattan has become his sphere of expertise; from Hamilton Heights to the Battery, Chris has a true appreciation for what makes each neighborhood unique and why his clients 'absolutely must' live in them. It's that capacity for understanding people's needs, while making the home buying process transparent and streamlined that has consistently earned him a spot among Realogy Brokerage Group's top 1,000 agents.
Chris is a licensed Associate Broker and inaugural member of the New York Residential Agent Continuum (NYRAC), a professional organization reserved for the most established and ethical operators in the industry. He is also a member of the National Association of Divorce Professionals (NADP) and supports the Veteran's Advocacy Benefits Association (VABA) and local public radio, WNYC. Chris loves tennis and trying to keep up with his teenage son.
