Former film producer Anouk Nora brings her unique cinematic intel to real estate. Understanding the narrative of physical space helps Anouk unlock hidden values, spot unseen market opportunities and recognize real estate potential for both buyer and seller alike. Years of international film finance and production deal-making give her special prowess in overcoming obstacles and closing deals.
Anouk was born in Rochester and educated in Paris and New York. She lived in Saint Martin for many years after her father built the first five-star hotel, La Samanna, in the Caribbean in 1973.
Anouk has produced award-winning music videos for George Michael, C&C Music Factory, Aretha Franklin and more. She has produced commercials for clients such as Coke and Levi’s and went on to produce four feature films. She has worked with exacting partners such as Martin Scorsese, Oliver Stone and Abel Ferrara.
Ten days after obtaining her real estate license, Anouk sold her first property: a former Con Edison building that will soon become a stunning East Village gallery/museum.
“People and their projects are an inspiration to me,” says Anouk. “Real estate is a match-making process. Residential homes are a reflection of one’s soul and commercial spaces – I go by the Bauhaus philosophy where form follows function. It works, and sometimes you combine both.”
Anouk has closed deals in the last 36 months totaling close to over $45 million in luxury sales, rentals, commercial sales and commercial leasing. She is the mother of two children and lives in NYC.
