Daniel Chang

Daniel Y. Chang is the Head of Asia Desk for The Field Team, #1 New York City sales team in Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc. 2021, achieving over $4 billion in sales through the years. Daniel is a valuable member of The Field Team where his responsibilities include developing their Asian client base and referral network.

Daniel joined The Field Team from HSBC Private Bank, where he amassed 15 years of experience as a Senior Vice President in private banking. He managed $1 billion of client assets and originated over $500 million of loans, including commercial and residential mortgages during his tenure at HSBC.

In addition to his real estate business as a licensed salesperson, Daniel is actively looking after clients’ wealth management under his US securities and life insurance licenses.

Daniel earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University, an MBA degree from Baruch College. He also studied Financial Engineering at Stern School of Business at NYU and attended an executive training program at INSEAD.

Daniel is actively involved in the community. He is a board member at the Children’s Orchestra Society, founded by cellist Yo-Yo Ma’s late father, board observer at Piermont Bank, trustee and treasurer at the PLUS Charitable Trust, and an advisory board member at Yingke Law Firm in China.

He is a native speaker of Chinese and Taiwanese.
